Relaxing and recharging over the Christmas break

Relaxing and recharging over the Christmas break

The festive season is here and we believe there’s no better time to slow down and refocus. After a busy year, it’s important to make space for rest so you can take on the new year feeling refreshed and ready. Rest is the best gift you can give yourself this Christmas!

Here’s our advice for making the most of the break so you can return in January recharged, refreshed and motivated…

Unplug and unwind

Give yourself time to disconnect from work for a while and unplug. Turn off your email notifications, set an out-of-office message and set your work aside so you can fully enjoy your downtime without distractions.

However, if you are planning to head into the office over the Christmas break, we’ll still be open for you to visit.

Embrace the outdoors

While the cold weather may make you want to retreat indoors, a brisk winter walk can do wonders for clearing your mind. Wrap up warm, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the beauty of the season.

We’d also recommend making time for a 20 to 30-minute walk in your daily work schedule all year round. Many of our office locations are surrounded by green spaces and walking paths for you to have some time away from your desk.

Do what you love

This is the time to enjoy guilt-free rest. Curl up with a good book, experiment with a new recipe, or dive into a hobby you’ve been neglecting - you may even uncover something you want to continue in the new year!

To spread some festive cheer this year, we’ve been hosting "Mince Pie Mondays" throughout December at our office locations. We’re sharing delicious mince pies in our breakout areas, giving clients a chance to enjoy a sweet Christmas treat as the year comes to a close. It’s our way of encouraging our communities to indulge in a Christmas treat at the end of the year.

Reflect and reset

Use the quiet moments to reflect on your achievements and set intentions for the year ahead. A little planning can inspire a fresh start and give you a sense of purpose.

However you’re choosing to spend the break, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
