Sponsored by AXA Business Insurance, the Startups.co.uk annual list seeks the UK’s ‘most game-changing and exciting new businesses’ and is highly regarded as a leading authority when it comes to recognising early-stage companies poised for ‘entrepreneurial stardom’. Past alumni of the Startups.co.uk annual list include household names such as Notonthehighstreet.com, Secret Escapes, PROPERCORN and Deliveroo – which makes LeadStream’s inclusion within the Top 10 a highly prestigious accolade for the company.
LeadStream was founded by Matthew Milnes and Michael Hubbard in 2014 and specialises in online customer acquisition for the financial services industry. Having witnessed the difficulties that brokers face when inundated with leads that do not lead to profitable business, Matthew and Michael developed a new concept in lead qualification. ‘Instead of simply selling companies leads, after a customer has filled out its web form LeadStream verifies the lead over the phone – confirming whether or not they would like to speak to a broker. LeadStream then transfers the customer to the best company for their requirements. In short, brokers get connected to customers who actually want a quote for their product.’
LeadStream’s service has received almost 2,000 four and five-star reviews, whilst attracting around 1,700 customer enquiries each day. LeadStream has seen astounding growth within our premises at Lancaster Court since it began in 2014 and this latest accolade is an excellent endorsement for their continued success.
A celebratory launch event for this years’ Startups.co.uk index will be held at an exclusive London location on the 22nd June, giving all businesses named in the Top 100 the chance to network with each other whilst celebrating their success.
